Arnaud Nuvolone has been violinist with the Orchestre de l'Opéra national de Paris since 1990, and concertmaster of the Orchestre Pasdeloup. A pupil of Christian Ferras, Ivry Gitlis and Lola Bobesco, he obtained a first prize in violin and chamber music at the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles. A Menuhin Foundation laureate, he performs chamber music and has been concertmaster of the Lille, Lyon and Tours national orchestras.
With the Orchestre Pasdeloup, he performs numerous solo works, including concertos by Loussier, Mendelssohn, Brahms, Beethoven, Ravel, Wieniawski, Vaughan Williams and Benzecry, as well as a creation by Bechara El Khoury. He has recorded Once Upon a Time, a disc of violin-harp duets with Dominique Piussan, and collaborates with the I Funambuli company. He plays a violin by Stephan von Baehr.
