A member of the ensemble at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin, Hungarian mezzo-soprano Anna Kissjudit performs on international opera stages, notably in the major Wagnerian roles. Her previous engagements include Mrs Quickly (Falstaff) at the Hamburg State Opera, Erda (Das Rheingold and Siegfried) at the Bayreuth Festival, Mary (The Flying Dutchman) at the Norwegian National Opera (Decca Classics recording), and Ježibaba (Rusalka) and Annina (Der Rosenkavalier) at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin.
In concert, she has appeared in Mahler’s Symphonies Nos. 2 and 3, Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis, and Bruckner’s Te Deum, as well as in performances with the Berlin Philharmonic and at Müpa Budapest. During the 2025–2026 season, she performs Erda (Ring Cycle) and Ulrica (Un ballo in maschera) at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin, La Cieca (La Gioconda) at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, and Fricka (Ring Cycle) at the Bayreuth Festival. In concert, she appears in Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 with the Munich Philharmonic and in Mahler’s Symphony No. 8 with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra.
Debut at the Paris Opera.
