Since his debut at the Théâtre du Capitole in Toulouse in 2005, baritone André Heyboer has appeared on major stages in Hong Kong, Monte Carlo, Avignon, Amsterdam, São Paulo, as well as at the Opéra Comique, the Paris Opera, the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, the Prinzregententheater in Munich, the Theater an der Wien, the Palau de les Arts in Valencia, and the Salzburg Festival. His repertoire includes, among others, Tonio (Pagliacci), Alfio (Cavalleria rusticana), Sharpless (Madama Butterfly), Athanaël (Thaïs), Zurga (Les Pêcheurs de perles), the High Priest (Samson et Dalila), Iago (Otello), and the title roles in Nabucco and Macbeth.
He has recently made his debuts as Baron Scarpia (Tosca) in Avignon, Miller (Luisa Miller) in Tours, and Don Carlo (Ernani) at the Buxton International Festival, where he also performed Giorgio Germont (La Traviata).
