Biography

Since his debut at the Théâtre du Capitole in Toulouse in 2005, baritone André Heyboer has performed on stages in Hong Kong, Monte Carlo, Avignon, Amsterdam, São Paulo, as well as at the Opéra-Comique, the Paris National Opera, the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, the Prinzregententheater in Munich, the Theater an der Wien, the Palau de les Arts in Valencia, and the Salzburg Festival.

His repertoire includes Alfio (Cavalleria rusticana), Tonio (Pagliacci), Sharpless (Madame Butterfly), Athanael (Thaïs), Zurga (Les Pêcheurs de perles), the High Priest (Samson et Dalila), Iago (Otello), and the title roles in Nabucco, and Macbeth. He recently made his debut as Baron Scarpia (Tosca) in Avignon, Miller (Luisa Miller) in Tours, and Don Carlo (Ernani) at the Buxton International Festival, where he will return for Giorgio Germont (La Traviata).
