Biography

Ana Vieira Leite is a graduate of the Haute école de musique de Genève and a laureate of the Académie Le Jardin des Voix des Arts Florissants. She won first prize at the concurso internacional Cidade de Almada, first prize at the premio Helena Sá e Costa, first prize at the concours international de chant baroque de Froville and first prize at the concurso da Fundação Rotária Portuguesa.

Recent and forthcoming career highlights include new productions of Partenope, Aminta e Fillide and Ariodante, as well as Le Messie, Orphée et Eurydice and Didon et Enée.

She has performed at the Grand Théâtre de Genève, Opéra Comique, Lucerne Festival, Ludwigsburg Festival, Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía in Valencia, Teatro Real in Madrid, Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, Opéra Royal de Versailles and Philharmonie de Paris. She works closely with William Christie and Les Arts Florissants, and is also a frequent guest with the ensembles Cappella Mediterranea, Concerto 1700, Divino Sospiro and Los Elementos. Ana Vieira Leite is supported by the Gulbenkian Foundation (Portugal), the Mosetti Foundation (Switzerland) and the GDA Foundation (Portugal).
