Alice Godfrey is a South African dancer and performing artist. She’s worked with the Netherlands Dance Theatre 1 and 2, under the directorship of Paul Lightfoot, and is an ongoing collaborator with renowned choreographer Sharon Eyal’s dance company S-E-D since 2019.
Independently her work includes collaborations with saxophonist Ben Wendel, pianist Koki Nakano, with ELAMOR for the opening ceremony of Palma Dansa at La Llotja, and “Can’t Sleepers” with Mariko Kakizaki commissioned by Dance Base Yokohama, Japan. In recent years Alice has integrated her training in the Feldenkrais Method into research-based workshops she leads across Europe and internationally.
