Trained at the Conservatoire de Bordeaux under Maryse Castets, Gabonese mezzo-soprano Adriana Bignagni Lesca has a versatile repertoire ranging from Baroque to contemporary opera. Her recent engagements include the roles of L’Opinion publique (Orphée aux Enfers) at Théâtre du Capitole in Toulouse, Arbate (Mitridate, re di Ponto) at Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin, Ježibaba (Rusalka) at the Tenerife Auditorium, and Souffrance (Guercœur by Albéric Magnard) at the Opéra national du Rhin.
She also made her debut at the Staatsoper Hamburg as Farnace (Mitridate, re di Ponto) and at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona as Charmian (Antony and Cleopatra by John Adams). During the 2025–2026 season, she will perform a recital at Théâtre du Capitole in Toulouse, sing L’Opinion publique at Opéra de Tours, and perform the Third Lady (The Magic Flute) at the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence.
