Offers for the vision-impaired and people with reduced mobility

People with reduced mobility

  • Special rates
    A discount of 20%
    is accorded to people with reduced mobility (holders of an 80% disability card) and the person accompanying them in seat categories Optima, 2 and 4 at Garnier, and in seat categories 2, 3, 4 and 5 at Bastille.
  • Seating

    A number of seats are reserved for theatregoers with wheelchairs:
    - In the front-facing 1st level boxes at the Palais Garnier.
    - In the stalls at the Opéra Bastille.

The vision-impaired and the blind

The Paris Opera, in association with Accès Culture offers an audio description service for the visually impaired at performances of some productions. A special headset relaying a verbal description of the performance as it progresses is provided free of charge on performance days. Guide dogs are also permitted inside the auditorium.

The blind and the visually-impaired, along with the person accompanying them are eligible for a 30% discount.
