Synopsis
Conceived as a dialogue between Scandinavian mythology and Slavic folklore, this concert featuring works by Grieg, Sibelius, Saariaho and Dvořák illustrates the porosity between so-called popular musical genres and art music.
Moravian Duets and Serenade for Strings by Dvořák and Grieg's Norwegian Dances, create a musical encounter between legends and superstitions.
