Synopsis

Come and discover a work session based on William Forsythe's ballet Blake Works, a special moment of sharing where dancers of the Paris Opera Ballet prepare before going on stage.
Places are limited. Seat prices: €10 and €5 (reduced rates for children under 18s).

Rehearsals punctuate the daily work of the dancers of the Paris Opera Ballet. They take place every day, after dance classes, in the studios of the Palais Garnier and Opéra Bastille with coaches, ballet masters and choreographers.

Blake Works I, triumphantly created in 2016 for the Paris Opera Ballet, is a hymn to classical technique expressed through fractured lines and geometric perfection, to the sound of seven songs by James Blake.
