Synopsis
After O U I #1, the choreographer and dancer Régine Chopinot continues her residency at the Academy. All along the season, workshop of movement and choreography will be given to people in situation of exile, learning French and in a high level of poverty. Through the practice of dancing, where the movement meet the ability to speak for oneself, this project’s aim is to hand some specific tools for personal, human and societal fulfillment. This project emphasizes orality and movement, it carries a body and expression awareness and creates a new language for communities and individualities. Taming and naming the bodies to find back a unity, naming the space to feel grounded. This public restitution is the result of a week of a creative workshop. The public will discover at the end of the restitution excerpts of the new documentary by Jean-Baptiste Warluzel.
