Synopsis
In counterpoint to the new production of Lohengrin, the soloists of the Academy propose a recital of German romantic Lieder: a journey into the world of popular Norse legends in which the composers Franz Schubert and Carl Loewe in particular, transport us back to the ancient times of ballads and epic tales. Some of the most beautiful lieder in the romantic repertoire and outstanding examples of fairytale vocal literature.
