Synopsis
Alongside his operatic career, the young Australian baritone Damien Pass regularly gives recitals including rarely performed works. This time he has chosen the Anglo-American repertoire for his recital: the Let us Garlands bring cycle by Finzi, based on Shakespeare's poems, a bouquet of Folk Songs by Britten, Richard Rodney Bennett's Songs before sleep cycle, Bolcom's Cabaret songs and Mélodies passagères by Samuel Barber, a tribute to French melody on French poems by Rilke.
