Gilles Aillaud - Political Animal
4 October 2023 - 26 February 2024
For want of becoming a philosopher, Gilles Aillaud became a painter. Letting us believe that he was depicting animals, it is our relationship with nature that emerges as his sole and true subject. His animals locked up in zoos speak to us of a world in which living things have become objects of domination, control and exploitation.
Reduced rate of €13 instead of €16 on the Centre Pompidou online ticketing service1. This ticket gives access to the permanent collection.

Nicolas de Staël
until 21 January 2024
The Musée d'Art Moderne in Paris is devoting a major retrospective to Nicolas de Staël (1914-1955), a key figure on the post-war French art scene. Twenty years after the one organised by the Centre Pompidou in 2003, this exhibition offers a fresh look at the artist's work, drawing on more recent thematic exhibitions that have highlighted certain little-known aspects of his career.
Reduced rate of €13 instead of €15, upon presentation of your subscriber card at the box office only1.
