CONDITIONS

With a face value of €50, €100, €150 or €200, or for a specific amount starting at €1 chosen by the purchaser, the gift voucher allows the recipient to obtain one or more tickets for a performance throughout its period of validity (2 years from the date of purchase) to be given in the main auditoriums of the Opéra Bastille and the Palais Garnier, subject to availability.

Tickets purchased with a gift voucher are not-transferable. The recipient of a gift voucher should refer to the schedule of opening dates for sales to use it towards one or several tickets for a performance, subject to availability. The schedule of opening dates for bookings can be found at the back of the season brochure as well as online. The Paris Opera cannot guarantee the availability of seats for a production chosen by a gift voucher holder.

A gift voucher does not authorise entry into the theatre. It must be used towards the purchase of one or several theatre tickets. Gift vouchers are available in card format or they may be downloaded and printed at home. A gift voucher may only be used one time. If the value of the gift voucher is greater than the amount of the purchase, the recipient may use the remainder to purchase a new fixed-price gift voucher or one to a value of the purchaser’s choosing, only by phone or at the ticket office. The new gift voucher is valid for two years from the date of purchase. If the value of the gift voucher is less than the amount of the purchase, the recipient may make up the difference in price using another method of payment. Several gift vouchers may be used together to purchase one or more tickets. No credit or exchange will be given. No refunds will be accorded if the gift voucher has not been used for any reason whatsoever, by the end of its date of validity. In the event that a gift voucher is lost or stolen, no duplicate will be issued and no credit or refund will be given. The General Terms of Sale currently in effect apply to theatre tickets acquired with a gift voucher.
