Zoe Zeniodi is Music Director and Principal Conductor of the Buenos Aires Philharmonic Orchestra at the Teatro Colón in Argentina, as well as Artistic Director of El Sistema Greece. Her international career as a conductor in opera and ballet has led her to participate in productions with Opera Australia, Opera Ballet Vlaanderen, Teatro de la Maestranza, Queensland Opera, New Zealand Opera, Bremen Opera, Southwest Opera, Florida Grand Opera, the Greek National Opera, the Onassis Cultural Center, and the Aegean Sea Festival, among others.
Zoe Zeniodi has conducted the OSESP (São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra), OSCyL (Castile and León Symphony Orchestra), ROSS (Royal Seville Symphony Orchestra), Montpellier National Orchestra, Avignon Provence National Orchestra, Bremen Philharmonic Orchestra, Porto Alegre Symphony Orchestra, Banda Sinfónica de Montevideo, National Orchestra of Colombia, Tatarstan National Orchestra, Vietnam National Orchestra, South Bohemian Philharmonic, Cyprus Symphony Orchestra, Bogotá Philharmonic Orchestra, Brno Philharmonic Orchestra, Olympia Symphony Orchestra, and Palm Beach Symphony Orchestra, among others.
As an associate conductor, Zoe Zeniodi has participated in productions and concerts with Los Angeles Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago, the Philharmonia Orchestra, the Orchestre de Paris, Santa Fe Opera, and the Gürzenich Orchestra of Cologne. She has been a fellow in the Taki Alsop Conducting Fellowship program, a member of the Hart Institute for Women Conductors, and a member of the Maestra Academy at the Philharmonie de Paris.
The documentary Maestra, which chronicles her life and work in connection with the Maestra Conducting Competition, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York and won the “Audience Award for Best Documentary,” among numerous other awards at various film festivals. It is currently available on Netflix.
