Biography

Tomek Jeziorski was born in 1986 in Warsaw. He studied at the Polish Cultural Institute in Warsaw and completed his training with a filmmaker and screenwriter diploma at the Łodź National Film School. As a filmmaker, his movies have been screened in many international film festivals, including those of Locarno, Vancouver, Madrid, St-Petersburg, Tampere, Vienna or Sibiu.

In 2009, he began to collaborate with stage director Robert Wilson, for whom he made the videos of his shows. He also works with various artists including Laurent Chetouane, Tilman Hecker, Karoline Gruber and the singer Herbert Gronemeyer, for whom he made the videos for the tour of his album Dauernd Jetzt.

In 2015, Tomek Jeziorski was a finalist in the Papayoung directors competition and an artist resident at the Watermill Center in New York. In 2021, he won an artistic grant from the Łodź district in the cinema category. He is the recipient of the Main Prize of the Polish Filmmakers Association, as part of the competition SCRIPT PRO in 2023.
