Belgian baritone Samuel Desguin studied lyric singing at the Mons Conservatory in the class of Marie-Laure Coenjaerts. He regularly performs in choirs, notably with the Namur Chamber Choir, with which he has sung under the direction of Gergely Madaras, Stephan MacLeod, Patrick Leterme, and Julien Chauvin. He has also performed with Anthony Vigneron (Ensemble de La Cambre) and Giampaolo Bisanti (Opéra Royal de Wallonie). With a strong interest in chamber music, he is a founding member of the vocal quartet Les 4 Sens, with which he won the Génération Classique Competition (jury prize), Big Little Music (audience prize), and Wratislavia Cantans.
Paris National Opera debut.
