Sami Fendall

Biography
Sami Fendall is an award-winning production designer working across live performance and screen. in 2019, she won London’s National Theatre's Linbury Prize for Stage Design for Hotel, commissioned by Birmingham Royal Ballet.
Her theatre and dance credits include:
CATS (Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre; UK & Ireland tour); Much Ado About Nothing (Shakespeare’s Globe, London); Arena (Paris Ballet, Opéra national de Paris); Brigadoon (Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre); Hamlet (Buxton Opera Festival); Averno (Stuttgart Ballet, Stuttgart Opera House); Ernani (Buxton Opera Festival); Coppélia (Scottish Ballet, Edinburgh International Festival / Sadler’s Wells); Hotel (Birmingham Royal Ballet, Sadler’s Wells / Birmingham Hippodrome); Cake (Lyric Theatre); Ariadne à Naxos, At the Statue of Venus, La Dame de Monte-Carlo (Royal Opera House).
Her feature film credits include Catching Dust (Pressman Films), Violent Delights (Scottish Ballet / Forest of Black), and The Women by the Lake (Hinoki Productions).
Alongside her work in performance, Sami also collaborates with a wide range of clients as an event and commercial designer.
