Biography
Rune Hitsumoto began her training in cello at the Horikawa Music High School of Kyoto where she graduated in 2012. She then obtained a bachelor degree in cello from the Kyoto City University of Arts and a master’s degree from the CRR of Paris in 2020.
From 2008 to 2012, she played with the Super Kids Orchestra of Hyogo conducted by Yutaka Sado. In 2014, she took part in a concert featuring Maxim Venguerov and Ivry Gitlis with the Sienna Wind Orchestra. She is a laureate of the Music Aoyama Foundation and the Rohm Music Foundation.
