Rachel McNamee

Biography
Rachel McNamee was born in Vancouver, Canada, and trained at Arts Umbrella Dance. After graduating in 2014, she danced with Nederlands Dans Theater for four years. She joined the Göteborg Opera Dance Company in 2018, where she has been working since.
Throughout her career, she has participated in numerous creations alongside artists such as Sharon Eyal, Imre & Marne van Opstal, Hofesh Shechter, Maxine Doyle, Alan Lucien Øyen, Alexander Ekman, as well as Bobbi Jene Smith and Or Schraiber.
Currently on leave from the company, she works freelance as a performer and artistic collaborator.
