Pietro Spagnoli performs on major international opera stages, including Vienna, Milan, London, Paris, Brussels, Zurich, Hamburg, Dresden, Munich, Barcelona, Madrid, Tokyo, and New York, as well as at the Rossini Festival in Pesaro and the Aix-en-Provence Festival. He has excelled in a variety of roles, including Figaro (The Barber of Seville), Count Almaviva (The Marriage of Figaro), the title role in Don Giovanni, Don Alfonso (Così fan tutte), Dandini and Don Magnifico (La Cenerentola), Belcore and Dulcamara (L’Elixir d’amour), Sulpice (La Fille du régiment), Don Pasquale and Malatesta (Don Pasquale), and Selim, Prosdocimo, and Don Geronio (Il turco in Italia).
More recently, he has taken on the title role in Falstaff at the Opéra Royal de Wallonie and in Parma, Fra Melitone (La Forza del destino) in Las Palmas, at the Semperoper Dresden, and at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, Sharpless (Madame Butterfly) and Michonnet (Adriana Lecouvreur) at Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari, as well as works from the zarzuela repertoire at Teatro de la Zarzuela in Madrid. He will make his debut in the title role of Gianni Schicchi at the New National Theatre Tokyo in 2025.
