Mermoz Melchior

Biography
Mermoz Melchior was born in 1999 in the south of France. After appearing in numerous films, he began his dance training at the age of 17. He quickly joined the Grenade company and then the Ballet Junior de Genève. He became part of the Batsheva Ensemble in 2022 and joined the Batsheva Dance Company in 2024, becoming a Gaga Teacher in December 2024.
Now based in Paris, he works as a freelance artist, collaborating with various companies and choreographers such as Yael Ben Ezer, Shen Wei, Marie-Agnès Gillot, and Clara Koskas, among others.
He regularly teaches at companies including the Ballet de l’Opéra national de Lyon and the Sydney Dance Company, and also works in higher education institutions.
