Max Glaenzel

Biography
Born in Barcelona, Max Glaenzel studied at the Escola Masana School of Art and Design in his hometown. A set and costume designer, he has mainly worked with Spanish directors such as Marcos Morau, Àlex Rigola, Silvia Delagneau, Sergi Belbel, Gerardo Vera, Xavier Albertí, Carlota Subirós, and Marta Pazos.
His creations have been presented at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, the Teatro Real in Madrid, the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya, the Centro Dramático Nacional, the Teatre Lliure, the Teatro de la Abadía, the Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz in Berlin, the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus, the Opéra national de Lyon, the Zurich Opera House, the Ballet du Rhin, and the Spanish National Ballet. Max Glaenzel has been working closely with Marcos Morau since 2015.
