The Maltese mezzo-soprano Marvic Monreal began her studies with soprano Gillian Zammit before studying at the Royal Academy of Music in London. For Royal Academy Opera, she performed the title role in La Tragédie de Carmen, Mrs Peachum (The Threepenny Opera), Venus (Orpheus in the Underworld) and Bradamante (Alcina). She was a member of the Frankfurt Opera Studio from 2020 to 2022.
She has performed the roles of Dido (Dido and Aeneas) in Malta, Maddalena (Rigoletto) in Vilnius, Mercédès (Carmen), Daniel (Belshazzar) in Malta, Olga (Eugene Onegin) in Frankfurt, the First Norn (Götterdämmerung), Erda (Siegfried) and Schwertleite (Die Walküre) at the Tirol Festival Erl, Flosshilde (Das Rheingold) at the Royal Ballet and Opera, the Second Maid (Elektra) at the Baden-Baden Festival and the Philharmonie de Berlin, Suzuki (Madama Butterfly) in Florence, the Page (Salome) in Florence, and Eduige (Rodelinda) at Garsington.
During the 2026–2027 season, she will perform, among other roles, Nicklausse / The Muse (The Tales of Hoffmann) and Yazmir (The Death of Klinghoffer) in Florence, and Varvara (Káťa Kabanová) in London.
