Maltese mezzo-soprano Marvic Monreal began her studies with soprano Gillian Zammit before training at the Royal Academy of Music in London. At the Royal Academy Opera, she performed the title role in Carmen (La Tragédie de Carmen), Mrs. Peachum (The Threepenny Opera), Venus (Orpheus in the Underworld), and Bradamante (Alcina).
She joined the Frankfurt Opera Studio from 2020 to 2022. She has performed the roles of Dido (Dido and Aeneas) in Malta, Maddalena (Rigoletto) in Vilnius, Mercédès (Carmen), Daniel (Belshazar) in Malta, Olga (Eugene Onegin) in Frankfurt, the First Norn (Götterdämmerung), Erda (Siegfried), and Schwertleite (Die Walküre) at the Tiroler Festspiele in Erl, Flosshilde (Das Rheingold) at the Royal Opera House in London, the Second Servant (Elektra) at the Baden-Baden Festival and Berlin Philharmonie, Suzuki (Madame Butterfly) in Florence, Suzy/Lolette (La Rondine) with the London Symphony Orchestra under Antonio Pappano, the Page (Salome) in Florence, and Eduige (Rodelinda) at Garsington. In the 2025–2026 season, she will perform, among other roles, Mrs. Meg Page at La Monnaie in Brussels.
