Marta Gardolińska is currently Music Director of the Opéra national de Lorraine and Principal Guest Conductor of the Orquestra Simfònica de Barcelona. In 2018, she was appointed Assistant Conductor of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. She was awarded a Dudamel Fellowship during the 2019–2020 season and was invited to assist Gustavo Dudamel with the Los Angeles Philharmonic in their live recording of Symphony No. 4 by Charles Ives, which received a Grammy Award.
She has conducted, among others, the London Symphony Orchestra, the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestre national du Capitole de Toulouse, the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris, the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, and has recently made her debuts with the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, and the Minnesota Orchestra.
In opera, she has conducted, among others, Der Traumgörge (George the Dreamer) by Alexander Zemlinsky, Manru by Ignacy Jan Paderewski, La Traviata and Eugene Onegin at the Opéra national de Lorraine, Fortunio by André Messager in Nancy, and Carmen at the Opéra national du Rhin. During the 2025–2026 season, she conducts La Bohème in Nancy and Die Fledermaus in Łódź.
Debut at the Opéra national de Paris.
