Margot Panek Violin

Biography

Artist in residence at the Academy since September 2026

Margot Panek began studying the violin at the Aveyron Conservatoire before continuing her training at the Toulouse Regional Conservatoire. In 2021, she was unanimously admitted to the Paris Conservatoire (Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris). Alongside her Master's degree in Sarah Nemtanu’s violin class, she is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in chamber music.

She joined the Orchestre Français des Jeunes in 2019, followed by the academies of the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France in 2023 and the Orchestre national d’Île-de-France in 2026. She has also performed with the Orchestre de Paris and the Orchestre National de France under the baton of conductors including Jaap van Zweden, Mikko Franck, and Daniel Harding.

A prize-winner in several competitions, she received Second Prize at the Marie Cantagrill Competition (2012) and Third Prize at the Triomphe de l’Art Competition (2021). She has also taken part in masterclasses with the Arod Quartet, Marc Danel, Blagoja Dimcevski, Tedi Papavrami, and Pierre Fouchenneret.

Margot Panek joined the Academy of the Paris National Opera in September 2026.
