She later became a member of Companyia Gelabert Azzopardi and Lanònima Imperial, where she began her professional career.
Since 2008, she has been a permanent member of the artistic team of La Veronal, where she has developed her career as a performer and collaborator with Marcos Morau. In 2018, she co-founded HOTEL Col·lectiu Escènic, a project born from the desire to create spaces for encounter and exchange between different artistic imaginaries. Through this platform, she has collaborated with artists such as Marie Gyselbrecht (Peeping Tom), Quim Bigas, Lisi Estaràs, and playwright Jordi Oriol. Lorena Nogal has also developed a personal trajectory as a choreographer. Her works include El elogio de la fisura, Alegorías (El límite y sus mapas), Aquí, Picassa, Le Terroir, and The Protagonist.
She leads workshops and training programs related to the KOVA method, a movement language developed in collaboration with La Veronal.
In 2024, she received the Spanish National Dance Award in the Performance category, presented by the Spanish Ministry of Culture, as well as the Talía Award for Best Female Performer, awarded by the Spanish Academy of Performing Arts. Previously, she received the Catalan Critics’ Award for Best Dancer (2016) and has been nominated several times for national and international awards.
