Biography

Russian Soprano, Liubov Medvedeva, graduate of the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts in Moscow, joined the Academy of L’Opera National de Paris in September 2018. Since then, she has participated in multiple concerts at the Amphithéâtre of Opera Bastille as well as at the Palais Garnier. In 2018, she performed with Orchestre des Pays de Savoie as part of the Voix d’automne festival in Evian, France. Liubov was the winner of the Siemens competition in 2019 and was then invited to perform a recital at the Rotonde du Glacier at the Palais Garnier. She was the recipient of the prize of honor at the 11th edition of The Elena Obraztsova International Competition and in 2019 became the youngest finalist of the 18th Ottavio ZIINO International Singing Competition. Also in 2019 Liubov performed the role of Adele in Strauss’ “Die Fledermaus” at the MC93 in Bobigny, France and was on tour in France with the Academy of Paris Opera. Liubov has participated in multiple masterclasses including Natalie Dessay, Karine Deshayes, and Ludovic Tézier. In 2020 Liubov joined The International Opera Studio of Staatsoper Unter den Linden. Liubov Medvedeva made her debut at the Palais Garnier as “une pastourelle” in Ravel’s “L’enfant et les sortilèges” in 2020 and in 2021 as Barbarina in „Le nozze di Figaro“ at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden under the baton of Daniel Barenboim.
