Born in Kharp, Liubov Medvedeva received a musical education between 2004 and 2012 in her hometown where she learned piano and singing. She entered the Russian Academy of Theater Arts (GITIS) in 2015, where she took part in the workshops of director Alexander Titel and conductor Igor Yasulovich. In 2016, the soprano joined Larisa Rudakova's class at the Tchaikovsky National Conservatory in Moscow. She regularly participated in the Elena Obraztsova International competition for young singers and won the first prize in 2014. She attended a masterclass with Natalie Dessay in 2015. The Elena Obraztsova Cultural Centre gave her a prize of honour at the 11th edition of the competition. In 2019, she performed Adèle in Die Fledermaus by Johann Strauss at the MC93 in Bobigny and on tour. Liubov Medvedeva joined the Paris Opera Academy in September 2018.
