Graduated from the Paris Conservatoire (CNSMDP), Léo Vermot-Desroches was nominated in 2024 for the Victoires de la Musique in the “Révélations” category. He has won numerous prizes at the Voix Nouvelles competitions in Opéra Comique, Marmande, Froville, Canari, and Arles. He has recently been heard in roles such as Alfredo (La Traviata) in Tours, in his debut as the title role in Les Contes d’Hoffmann at the Salzburg Festival, Truffaldino (L’Amour des trois oranges) and Arbace (Idomeneo) in Nancy, Julien (adaptation of Louise) and Juliano (Le Domino noir) at Opéra Comique, Des Grieux (Manon), Manoël (Le Tribut de Zamora), and Nicias (Thaïs) at the Opéra de Saint-Étienne, Camille (La Veuve joyeuse) at the Opéra de Marseille, and the First Jew (Salomé) at the Aix-en-Provence Festival.
In concert, he performs with ensembles including the Munich Symphony Orchestra and in Musiques en fête at the Chorégies d’Orange. During the 2025-2026 season, he sings the Narrator (Ève) at the Wenceslav Festival in Krakow, the Chevalier de La Force (Dialogues des Carmélites) in Lausanne and Marseille, Tybalt (Roméo et Juliette) at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Edgar (Lucie de Lammermoor) at Opéra Comique, and returns to Salzburg as Brother Massée (Saint-François d’Assise).
Debuts at the Paris National Opera.
