Biography

A proficient violinist during her school days, in 2010, Léa Argouc’h turned to the History, Anthropology and Ethnology of the Performing Arts which she studied in Nice and in Rennes. Her keen interest in fashion, drawing, art and theatre prompted her to pursue her training in the world of fashion, specialising in clothes. In 2015, she completed her training with a Métiers d’Art diploma (DMA) in costume design at the Lycée La Source in Nogent-sur-Marne. Her professional experience as a seamstress at haute couture workshops in Paris, as a designer in Nantes and for the musical Oliver Twist gave her an insight into the world of the performing arts. During the 2017/2018 season, she will be working in the costume workshop at the Palais Garnier.
