Artist in residence at the Academy since September 2026
Originally from Russia, Kirill Odintsov trained at the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music and the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts (GITIS) in Moscow. He continued his studies at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance before joining the Young Artists Programme of the Israeli Opera in Tel Aviv.
He made his professional debut in 2024 at the Israeli Opera in Tel Aviv in the roles of Monterone and the Usher (Rigoletto). During the same season, he performed the roles of the Commissioner (Dialogues of the Carmelites) at the Israeli Opera and Don Belflor (Le Toréador) with Opera Project Israel. He previously performed Morales (Carmen) with the Jerusalem Lyric Opera and the title role of The Marriage of Figaro.
In 2024, he received the America–Israel Cultural Foundation Prize.
Kirill Odintsov joined the Academy of the Paris National Opera in September 2026.
