Kaye Voyce Costume

Biography

Kaye Voyce is based in New York and designs costumes for theater, opera, dance, and performance worldwide. Her previous collaborations with Louisa Proske include Lucia di Lammermoor at the Tiroler Festspiele Erl, Tosca at the Glimmerglass Festival, and Le Roi Arthus at Bard Summerscape Opera. Among her other opera creations are The Listeners by Missy Mazzoli at Norwegian Opera, Philadelphia, and Chicago, Drowning by Philip Glass in New York, Die Lustige Witwe in Wuppertal, Angels in America at the Landestheater Salzburg, La Fille du Far-West in Beijing, Il Turco in Italia at the Aix-en-Provence Festival, in Dijon, Turin, and Warsaw, and A Quiet Place at New York City Opera.

Her theater work ranges from Broadway productions to the Royal Shakespeare Company, as well as companies such as Elevator Repair Service and New York City Players. Her designs have been showcased at major European festivals, including the Festival d’Automne, Wiener Festwochen, and the Dublin Festival, as well as at the Whitney Biennial. She has also designed costumes for recent works by Trisha Brown, including I'll toss my arms if you catch them they're yours.

Debuts at the Paris National Opera.
