Justine Vervelle Cello

Biography

After passing her D.E.M. diploma at the CRR regional conservatory in Reims, she entered the CRR regional conservatory of Aubervilliers-La Courneuve, then the Royal Conservatory in Brussels. She then perfected her talents with Thomas Duran and Daniel Raclot at the CRR regional conservatory in Paris where she trained to be a concert cellist in the chamber music class of Eric Le Sage and Paul Meyer. An inveterate orchestra enthusiast, she turned towards youth ensembles like the Orchestre Français des Jeunes, the Wiener Jugend Orchestrer and the Baltic Youth Philharmonic Orchestra. She is currently collaborating with the Paris Opera Orchestra, the Orchestre national du Capitole de Toulouse and the Orchestre national des Pays de la Loire while continuing to play chamber music in various groups. As of September 2015, she will be in residence at the Paris Opera’s Academy.
