Biography

Grammy Award winner Jody Elff has mixed numerous concerts for television broadcasts. His orchestral collaborations include the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Lincoln Center Festival. In the field of traditional music, he has made recordings in Morocco and Ethiopia, and his work with Yo-Yo Ma’s Silkroad Ensemble includes the recording of three albums as well as the sound design for hundreds of performances around the world.

He is the founder of Little Dog Live, a pioneer in high-quality live streaming. His sound installations and designs have been presented in museums and galleries internationally, including collaborations with David Lang, Diller Scofidio + Renfro, and Renfro. He created the sound installation Strata, which is permanently exhibited in Lyon. He also served as sound engineer for Michelle Obama’s international Becoming book tour. For several years, he has been deeply involved in the development of new technologies enabling high-quality remote audio production and collaboration.
