Biography

Jeanne Azoulay has been immersed in dance and music from a very young age. Raised in an environment steeped in cinematic culture, theaters quickly became familiar territory for her. Starting in 2009, she worked with various choreographers including Fouad Boussouf, Bouba Cissé, Aurélien Kairo, Milène Duhameau, Nabil Hemaïza, Abdou N’Gom, Bouba Landrille Tchouda, Mickaël Le Mer, and others—artists who helped shape her into a performer recognized for both her technical skill and artistic sensitivity. In 2012, she met Amine Boussa and danced in his first piece, Moovance.

It was a true artistic connection, and their creative bond has remained strong ever since. Jeanne became a central figure in the Chriki’Z Company. Transcending conventional codes, her movement and technique—marked by hybrid influences—serve the expression of her physical states. As she continues to refine her movement research and choreographic writing, a four-handed creative process naturally emerged through the company’s works.
