Born in Paris in 1988 to Swedish, English, Indian, and Italian heritage, Gustave Rudman began his journey in rock music before training at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris. His musical composition sits at the intersection of classical forms and contemporary culture.
He contributed to the original music for the HBO series Euphoria and later composed the soundtrack for Tranchées, a documentary by Loup Bureau presented at the Venice Film Festival. His work has led him to collaborate with artists from music, visual arts, and performance, as well as with fashion houses such as Alaïa and Chanel, for which he has composed runway music.
Gustave Rudman develops a vision of music as a sensitive and poetic architecture, within which an inner journey can unfold. Étude, created for the Opéra National de Paris in collaboration with choreographer Marcos Morau, is his first ballet.
