Freddie De Tommaso Tenor

Biography

Trained at the Royal Academy of Music and at the Opera Studio of the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, Freddie De Tommaso performs on the world’s major opera stages. His repertoire includes Mario Cavaradossi (Tosca), Don José (Carmen), Maurizio (Adriana Lecouvreur), Macduff (Macbeth), Riccardo (Un ballo in maschera), Pollione (Norma), Adorno (Simon Boccanegra), Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly), Rodolfo (La Bohème), Alfredo (La Traviata), and the Italian Tenor (Der Rosenkavalier).

In the 2025–2026 season, he will perform Mario Cavaradossi in London and Berlin, Rodolfo (La Bohème) in New York and London, Rodolfo (Luisa Miller) in Valencia and Vienna, Don José in Vienna, and Pollione in Berlin. He also regularly appears in concerts. An exclusive artist with Decca Classics and the label’s leading tenor since 2007, he has released the albums Passione and Il Tenore.
