The Berthier Workshops, in Paris' 17th arrondissement, have been listed buildings since 1990. They were built by Charles Garnier with the help of Gustave Eiffel.
Originally designed for the manufacture and renovation of sets (backdrops) for the Palais Garnier, they also provide rehearsal areas, stockage facilities for sets and costumes and a logistic platform.
