Of German-Lebanese origin, the mezzo-soprano Dina Husseini trained in voice at the Geneva University of Music. On stage, she made her debut in La Calisto at the Grand Théâtre de Genève, as well as in L’Incoronazione di Poppea at the Bâtiment des Forces Motrices in Geneva and at the Théâtre de Neuchâtel. Her operatic career has led her to explore a wide range of repertoire. She has performed in Prince Igor at the Opéra-Théâtre de Saint-Étienne, La Belle Hélène at the Théâtre de Roanne, and L’Italiana in Algeri in Geneva.
More recently, she has also appeared in the role of Orphée (Orphée et Eurydice) as well as Didon (Dido and Aeneas). A versatile artist, she regularly collaborates with instrumental and vocal ensembles such as the Namur Chamber Choir, Les Talens Lyriques, Le Concert Spirituel, Le Concert de la Loge, Orfeo 55, and Le Concert de l’Hostel Dieu. In addition to her recitals, she is actively involved in contemporary creation with the company Les Variétés Lyriques.
