Daniel Jin Applebaum is a producer, writer, and former soloist with the New York City Ballet.
During his twenty-year career with the New York City Ballet, he performed in a vast and varied repertoire, including principal roles in Balanchine’s Emeralds, Liebeslieder Walzer, Agon, and Serenade, as well as Robbins’s The Goldberg Variations.
He created roles in works by choreographers such as Justin Peck, Alexei Ratmansky, and Benjamin Millepied, among others, and danced leading roles in Pam Tanowitz’s Bartók Ballet, Gustave Le Gray No. 1, and Law of Mosaics.
