After earning a diploma in vocal studies in lyric singing from the Bordeaux Regional Conservatory in 2015, Danaé Monnie joined the Centre de Musique Baroque de Versailles, where she specialized in early music, before completing her training at the Paris Regional Conservatory in the concert-level lyric program. She regularly collaborates with ensembles such as Le Concert de la Loge, Ensemble Correspondances, Le Concert Spirituel, Le Concert d’Astrée, Les Talens Lyriques, and Les Arts Florissants.
In 2018, she performed the title role in Stradella’s oratorio Santa Editta with Ensemble Il Groviglio, Enone (La Descente d’Orphée aux Enfers by Charpentier) under the direction of Sébastien Daucé, and a Shepherdess (Tarare by Salieri) under the direction of Christophe Rousset, which was recorded the same year. For the Château de Versailles Spectacles label, she recorded court arias under the direction of Thibaut Roussel in 2019 and, more recently, works by Nivers under the direction of Nicolas Bucher.
