Trained at Towson University and the Peabody Institute, Corinne Winters was an artist-in-residence at the Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia. Her previous engagements include the title role in Kát’a Kabanová at the Salzburg Festival and the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, Mimi (La Bohème) at the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the title roles in Iphigénie en Aulide and Iphigénie en Tauride at the Aix-en-Provence Festival, the title role in Rusalka at the Vienna State Opera, Blanche de La Force (Dialogues des Carmélites), and the title roles in Madame Butterfly and Suor Angelica at the Opera of Rome, as well as the title role in Jenůfa at the Royal Ballet and Opera.
Named Singer of the Year at the Oper! Awards 2024, she opens the 2025–2026 season with the three heroines of Il Trittico at the Houston Grand Opera, sings the title role in Madame Butterfly at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin and at the Grand Théâtre de Genève, Nedda (Pagliacci) at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the title role in Suor Angelica at the Tiroler Festspiele Erl, and Tatiana (Eugene Onegin) at the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía in Valencia.
In concert, she performs with the Slovak National Theatre, the Bamberg Symphony, the Orchestra of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and the Munich Philharmonic.
Debuts at the Paris National Opera.
