Ballet and Junior Ballet

Audition for female and male dancers of the Paris Opera Corps de Ballet and Junior Ballet. Permanent and temporary positions.

Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at the Palais Garnier for women’s positions
Thursday, July 2, 2026 at the Palais Garnier for men’s positions

The audition is open to female and male candidates who are at least 16 years old on the day of the competition. A pre-selection will be made based on application files.

At the end of the audition days, permanent contracts (CDI) may be offered for the Corps de Ballet, as well as fixed-term contracts (CDD) for the season.

For the Junior Ballet, 24-month professional training contracts will be offered by the Paris Opera to dancers aged 17 (as of January 1, 2026) to 23 (as of September 1, 2026) to join the Junior Ballet.

All candidates registered for the external Ballet competition who meet these selection criteria may be offered one of these contracts following the audition days on July 1 and 2, 2026.
