Clara Mayembo

Biography
A graduate of the Lycée Elisa Lemonnier in Paris, Clara Mayembo began her career maintaining wigs for Alexis Michalik's musical Les Producteurs, which won a Molière award in 2022.
She completed her apprenticeship with the Moulin Rouge wig team for two years before joining the Disneyland Paris team as a wig and make-up artist.
Clara Mayembo collaborates on two musicals as principal wigmaker: Peau d'Homme (2025) and Orgueil et Préjugés ou presque (2025), where she is responsible for wig preparation and maintenance during the season.
Clara Mayembo joins the Académie in September 2025 as Artisan d'Art in Residence at the Opéra National de Paris' wig and make-up workshops.
