Biography
Christophe Forey has designed the lighting for numerous theater, dance and opera productions. In theater, he has worked with Robert Gironès (Algérie 54-62 by Jean Magnan), Bruno Boëglin (Roberto Zucco by Koltès), Jean-Marc Bourg, Jean-Claude Berutti, Cédric Dorier. In the operatic field, he regularly collaborates with Moshe Leiser and Patrice Caurier: Pelléas et Mélisande and Tétralogie at the Grand Théâtre de Genève, La Cenerentola, Madame Butterfly, Le Barbier de Séville, Maria Stuarda at the Royal Opera House in London, Giulio Cesare, Norma, L'Italienne à Alger at the Salzburg Festival, Giovanna d'Arco at La Scala in Milan and, most recently, Boito's Mefistofele in Venice. He has also designed lighting for Lucinda Childs (Le Mandarin Merveilleux, Songs from before), Gunther Krämer, Judith Lebiez and for contemporary music projects with Benjamin Dupé, l'Itinéraire and Ircam.
