Chae Hoon Baek studied singing at the Kosin University in Busan before joining the International Academy of Music in Rome, where he graduated in operatic singing and conducting. He also graduated from the Campo Basso Conservatory.
He then joined the Saint Cecilia National Academy Chorus (Rome) and was the finalist in various singing competitions in Rome, Naples, and Ciampino between 2002 and 2005. As a soloist, he performs concerts in England, Japan, South Korea, and at the Opéra national du Rhin in 2007 (a Trojan in Idomeneo). Other appearances include operas such as La Bohème, La Traviata, Don Giovanni, L’elisir d’amore.
Since 2010, he has been a member of the Paris Opera Chorus.
