Biography
Originally from Manchester, Cath Brittan now resides in California.
Her recent and upcoming productions include Aci, Galatea e Polifemo, Olivier Messiaen’s Des Canyons aux étoiles, Glass Handel, Bandwagon with the New York Philharmonic, Amadigi di Gaula, SoundBox Season with the San Francisco Symphony, Orphic Moments, Tyshawn Sorey’s Perle Noire, Peter Knell’s Arkhipov, Mark Grey’s Birds in the Moon, Wayne Shorter and Esperanza Spalding’s Iphigenia, The Hunting Gun, Paola Prestini and Sxip Shirey’s No One Is Forgotten, Only an Octave Apart, UnRavelled, Yaniv Segal’s American Patriots, Christopher Cerrone’s In a Grove, Luna Pearl Woolf’s Number Our Days, The Secret Sharer, We The Messiah, the Kronos Quartet Triptych Project, and Allado-McDowell’s The Known Lost.
From 2018 to 2022, Cath Brittan served as a producer for AMOC* (the American Modern Opera Company).
