Biography

Born in Belgium, Caroline Petit began her musical training in 1997 at the Choir School of the Royal Opera of Wallonia before entering the Royal Conservatory of Music in Liège in 2000. 

Following her studies, she moved to Paris at the end of 2003 to perfect her vocal training with Isabel Garcisanz and the Paris Opera’s chorus masters. She then performed in various recitals, festivals and operas in France and abroad, including in the roles of Maddalena, Carmen, Dalila or Poline, but also in oratorios such as those of Saint-Saens or Handel. 

In July 2010, she decided to enter the competition of the Paris Opera’s Choruses, which she joined in the second alto section in the 2010-2011 Season. She also regularly performs many recitals.
