Camille Assaf frequently collaborates with Peter Sellars, for whom she has designed the costumes for Fauvel at the Théâtre du Châtelet, Adriana Mater at the San Francisco Symphony and Médée at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin - and, this season, those for Le Joueur at the Salzburg Festival. Her costumes have been seen on many international stages (Santa Fe Opera, New York City Ballet, Joyce Theater, Opéra Royal de Versailles, Opera Basel, Opera Holland Park, Chenla Theater Phnom Penh, Juilliard Opera, Boston Lyric Opera, Park Avenue Armory...).

She helped create the costumes for the opening ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, and has designed the costumes for numerous Benjamin Millepied ballets (Romeo et Juliette, Unstill Life - and, soon, those for two ballet evenings at the Opéra de Rome and the Philharmonie de Paris). She frequently collaborates with the contemporary artist duo Gerard & Kelly (Without at the New York Guggenheim, Timelining at the Centre Pompidou, Reusable Parts, Endless Love at the Palais de Tokyo, Panorama at the Fondation Pinault - Bourse de Commerce, and the very recent Gay Guerilla at the Centre Pompidou). Camille Assaf is currently preparing Le Trouvère directed by Stephen Wadsworth at the Houston Grand Opera and Macbeth directed by Silvia Costa at the Comédie-Française.
