After completing her secondary education, Bianca Deigner, born in Munich in 1979, studied fashion design at the Stuttgart School of Design. In 2002, she began working at the Staatstheater Stuttgart as a costume design assistant.
Since 2006, she has been designing her own costumes for theater and opera. Her work has taken her to the Norwegian National Opera with director Peer Perez Øian for The Turn of the Screw, to the Frankfurt Opera with director Mariame Clement for Così fan tutte, to the Residenztheater Munich with director Claus Guth for Cabaret, to the Opera de Lille in co-production with the Philharmonie de Paris with director Silvia Costa for Freitag aus Licht, to the Berliner Ensemble with director Enrico Lübbe for Geschichten aus dem Wiener Wald, to the Hannover State Opera for Orest, to the Schauspiel Leipzig for several productions, to the Opera de Bonn for Electra, as well as to the Det Norske Teatret and the Theatre de Fribourg.
Debut at the Paris Opera.
